Hello, hello. I am back with some new faces. This video is a cut from a #sorryasianparents recording where we ended a 3-hour conversation with anime. Will, Noble, and Erick joined me discussing growing up in the Central Valley and the anime we watched. The whole video is about an hour and a half, but I felt like it was a crime to cut some of the laughs out. So, essentially, this video is four men in their 30s gushing over Naruto, Bleach, and other classic animes…and our shared experiences of “accidentally” finding La Blue Girl and Bible Black.
So I hope you enjoy! Also, feel free to throw in some names of the animes you watched growing up in the comments.

Well, well, well, after taking a year off, Anime Los Angeles returned last weekend at the Long Beach Convention Center. I, of course, went and did a little cosplaying, made some friends, and even had my own slice of life moment. IT WAS AMAZING. So in this video, you’ll see me recount (the stuff that I’m allowed to say on YouTube) to Emilio as we share a few laughs about my Weebventures!
Also, I say nerds and weebs a lot in this video but I say it out of love. Because, as you already know, I’m a huge geek and share the highs and lows of what it means to be a part of this culture. So, I jest.

**** WARNING: THIS IS FULL OF SPOILERS ***
In another segment of “Emilio Watches Anime,” we talk about his reaction to Kimetsu no Yaiba and the movie Mugen Ressha-hen. This isn’t an actual name for a segment, but it might as well be. My good friend Mario joined us for this recording of two average bros just talking about how awesome Demon Slayer is and why Tanjiro is da man! We share a few laughs and tears as we talk about why the Best Husbando title goes to Kyojuro Rengoku.
I know I already did an episode on Mugen Train, but we didn’t get to have Emilio’s smile, I mean input, on the series/movies. This is part one of two (I am pretty limited on time due to work), and the second half, where Emilio educates us on why mouse-and-keyboard is superior to controllers in FPS, will come out shortly. Get really for bickering of two inputs in the next one…gonna be a lot of Destiny 2 and CSGO talk…
If you have any comments on why Rengoku is the best or why you think Tanjiro is overrated, leave a comment below.
Also, I am still unsure how DMCA works so I did not include any pictures or videos of the anime…I don’t know if I’m ready to take on the YouTube ban police yet.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen . . . I know if I didn’t post the Japanese title, I would probably get flamed for it, but WE WATCHED IT!!!! And it was EFFin AWESOME!!! I don’t know how else to start this description. Crazy, first time in a long time, I’m dedicating a whole episode to anime. Yay!!!
My friends (Lance, Jerome, Cameron) and I decided to get together and talk about how we felt about the movie, themes, symbolism, what it did right/wrong, and all that stuff. So join us as we break it down with a few laughs. Shout out to our friend Anthony who is missing from this video.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the movie if you also rode this anime feelz train down below. . .and do the whole like and subscribe thing if you enjoyed us blabbering about it.
Man, I miss anime conventions. But, you know, 2020 was the year of everything getting canceled. In this special clip, Emilio, Garret, and I are just talking about anime cons. We quickly touch on Fanime, Crunchyroll Expo, and Anime Los Angeles. You will get a chance to hear about some of the cool things we have experienced, the weird, and our past/future cosplay ideas. This video isn’t a full episode, but it’s still a great chuckle.
Usually, I would release a whole hour+ episode before I clip the video, but (not going to lie) we kind of went off the rails and just spitball hella subjects. So it didn’t make sense trying to make a coherent episode out of our ADHD conversation. Don’t worry; I’m still going to create long-form content that many won’t watch in the future. I guess this is a good chance for you to see how much of a weeb I am…especially when I get on a rant about after con dances, the H-tai room at Fanime, and other weird stuff I said. So please, enjoy.
If you also miss anime conventions or have any cosplay ideas, please let me know in the comments below. Bye-bye.
PS, I made a mistake. Not all Anime Cons have free games. You can either borrow a system or play the free games there, but some machines you will have to pay to play (like DDR).

Justice and I got together to talk about some of the video games we are playing during quarantine. Coincidentally, we both are playing the same game: DESTINY 2!!!! We didn’t plan this, it just kinda happened. We also talk about hate mail, those old Xbox lobbies where boys would say mean things, and also how boy gamers don’t know how to act when a girl enters the chat. Our session this time is pretty long so the second part where Erin joins us will be on a different video. Unfortunately, Scott couldn’t make it this time but we will all be reunited soon!
So I hope y’all enjoy.
Hi hi, this is the second hour of our first recording. I know it took a while for me to get it out there but life happens…and I’m incredibly lazy. Gomen-nasai. But in this video, we are talking about the Big Three (Naruto, Bleach, and ONE PIECE) and how it influenced our lives and the early days of anime culture in America. We also talk about which top three characters we think are the most badass. Welp, check it out and let us know whatcha think!
So….I tried to combine my love of anime and videogames with my natural ability to annoy someone with words. My friends and I are stuck in quarantine so we created a vidcast to share our experiences with anime. I know the video is long, but hopefully, the edits are somewhat funny. I hope.
Hey everyone, we are the Weebthusiast! Welcome to our channel and enjoy your stay!
In today’s video: Airec, Erin, Scott, and Justice discuss our humble beginnings into the wonderful world of anime. We give our origin stories to how it all began, stay tuned, and check the vid to find out! Scott kicks off the chat with Wicked City (released 1987) and his first experience with more adult animation. And the boys finish the video with a discussion on the Kenshin series with visceral details from Rurouni Kenshin and the Samurai X OVA’s.
Stick around and don’t forget to go full super Saiyan and Kamehameha that like and subscribe button!
